The Bell's are live from Newark CA!!!!!!

We made it to California!!
It was a very long trip, very boring, and very long. oh and did i say long? the snapping at each other did not take place until the morning of day 4, we were only a few hours from the new place and we were ready to be done. the cats were more then ready to be done.

So the trip.

Day 1 Atlanta GA to Dallas TX.

We started off like we expected, 6 am, 4 hours of sleep, and 3 cats yelling. We actually got on the road at 630 am cause the car was having issues getting onto the car carrier with the rain in Atlanta.
The car kept sliding around everytime that we tried to drive it up the ramps. we got it on and we got out of atlanta before the traffic hit. the rain followed us all day long. it was a very boring gray day. we learned the truck and how slow it is. we got down Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and into Texas.
Crossing the Mississippi river was very cool i have never been this far west in my life on a road.

We finally made it to Dallas Tx, our freinds we up late waiting for us, they were sweet and were waiting with food for us.

Sunset on the road

Day 2 Dallas TX to El Paso TX
we got some yummy breakfast with Chris and Joe in Dallas Tx. Then head out on the road. dallas is covered in nervous causing bridges but we quicky made it out of that area.
this is some of the dallas countryside.

the wind farms were very cool to see.

we saw lots and lots and lots of oil pumps.

lots of fall land then we saw them in the distance, mountains!!! finally something other then flat, flat, flat.

we made it to el paso and we thuded for the night.

Day 3 El Paso TX to Bakersfield CA

This day was a long one. we had to make it to at least bakersfeild CA for the night, so that we could make it to the new apartment on sat by noon to meet the new landlord. We started off seeing mountains and desert everywhere it was really neat to seethe country change so much while we drove. Drove through TX, New Mexico, Arzonia, and then California. we can tell you this taht truck did not have a good shocks and LA has bad roads, the combo even made the cats and us sick. shan was almost asking me for a barf bag.

here is some of what we saw.

Cactus!!!!!!

Day 4 Bakersfield CA to Newark CA
We woke again after 4 hours of sleep and hit the road. we made it to the new place, those pictures will come later, after i unpack more and the house is more put together. in the meantime these are more pictures of the mountains outside San Francisco.
